The cast of the Harry Potter movies sat down to take the Pottermore sorting quiz and things didn’t turn out the way they would expect.
When the Pottermore website got a makeover (to the delight of some fans and the chagrin of others) the user accounts from the old website were discontinued. No more potion making, no more dueling club, no more wand testing, and no more sorting ceremony.
In January 2016, the Pottermore team brought back the wands and sorting ceremony. This reintroduction brought new and old Hogwarts students back to school along with some new wizarding world tidbits.
With this new sorting quiz, some of the original Harry Potter cast became curious: what house did they really belong in?
Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) thought he would be sorted into Hufflepuff for sure.
And the Sorting Hat did not disappoint!

Out of everyone who took this quiz, Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) was by far the most enthusiastic. She even said she was “not surprised” to be sorted into Gryffindor house.

How Rupert Grint (Ronald Weasley) avoided the sorting quiz up until this point I will never know, but destiny finally caught up with him!
“It’s very in-depth,” he said while clicking through the questions.
At the end of the quiz, though, our dear Weasley found out he is a Hufflepuff at heart. “Still pretty good!” he said. “It wasn’t what I was expecting, but that’s really clever.”

Last up was the youngest of the Weasley children, Bonnie Wright (Ginevera “Ginny” Weasley). Like Evanna, Bonnie was sorted into Gryffindor. She was also the only cast member to be sorted into her original franchise-house.
“See, Gryffindor!” she said, turning the laptop around for the camera. “I feel very…relieved. I feel proud!”
