How To Get Away With Murder: 04×05, I Love Her

Bonnie’s past with Annalise comes to life during Bonnie’s therapy session which has her wondering if she still loves her on HTGAWM, “I Love Her.”

We now know that Oliver is a witness to the crime and Bonnie is on the scene. I think we are getting close to all of the answers. When this “I Love Her,” opens Bonnie is running towards the therapist office to talk about “Mae.” Could this be Annalise?

Bonnie tells him that she wants to hurt Annalise.

We jump back in time to an old case with Annalise that involves rape. The witness is Bonnie. Could this be how Annalise and Bonnie were united in the first place?

Where is everyone in the present?

Oliver is going to work at Caplan and Gold, leaving Connor at home on “humper” trying to find out if their neighbor is gay.

Laurel and Frank are keeping things steamy at Bonnie’s house until Bonnie calls for Laurel to come to work.

Annalise is trying to find inmates to join her class action suit against the system. It does not seem like she is getting anywhere with it.

In the past, we are brought along through Bonnie’s trial. It’s against a councilman. Bonnie testifies to being raped multiple times and things are not looking good for the councilman, whom Annalise’s old firm is defending.

Annalise’s boss asks her to cross examine Bonnie and she does not feel completely comfortable doing it, but she does it to get ahead. We wonder how this is going to end up for both women.

Meanwhile in the present, at Caplan and Gold, Michaela and Oliver are plotting to break into Tegan’s files to find out anything about Laurel’s father’s company.

Bonnie is talking to her therapist, Issac, about the relationship between her self and “Mae.” Telling him that they bonded because they were the same. They were both abused and they both are overcoming it.

At work, Bonnie is looking into cases that are listed as “attorney pending.” They are supposed to be represented by Virginia Cross but no one is representing them. Bonnie thinks it is Annalise, but all jail records say that she hasn’t been there. Bonnie doesn’t believe them, and she has every right not to. Bonnie asks Nate to look into it, and he finds Annalise in the jail. He lets her know that Bonnie is on to her and that she should start doing things the right way. Nate then goes and lies to Bonnie about seeing her.

Back in the past, Annalise cross examines Bonnie on the stand. She doesn’t have her quick Annalise “zing” as she usually does. Her boss calls her out on it outside the court room. Annalise knows what she has to do. When she goes back in, she tears Bonnie apart on the stand and it ends up poking holes in Bonnie’s story. The conviction and her action, tears Annalise apart and she ends up quitting her firm. Annalise wants to make things right between her and Bonnie.

Now at Caplan and Gold, Michaela and Oliver break into the file and an immediate 30 second countdown begins to type in another password. Michaela takes a quick screenshot before Oliver closes out quickly. She shows Laurel, but most of it can’t be read because of the countdown. Although, she sees the date on the letter is written a week before the man it is intended for died, or was murdered. This helps Laurel’s theory.

Who is lurking outside Laurel’s window? Asher. He has now caught Michaela in a lie because Michaela said she was still at work.

Remember how Oliver left Connor on “humper?” Well, he finds a guy to talk to. We then see him set up a meeting with this guy, but instead he ends up at Annalise’s apartment. He tells her that she ruined his life and that he would be happy without her. He also tells her that he is suicidal. Annalise tells him that he will be fine because he came to her instead of going to the guy or doing something else.

Annalise then goes to one of the inmates at the jail she was in that she got into a fight with. Annalise convinces her to come on board to her lawsuit. This inmate then convinces 15 other women to join her. Annalise is in the middle of her happy dance when she starts getting phone calls from inmates backing out. Bonnie is on her tail and is closing in. In fact, she takes away many of the clients Annalise had in the first place. An angry Annalise goes to the jail and finds Bonnie running out.

Bonnie and Annalise get into a heated discussion in which Bonnie tells Annalise that she threw her away like trash. Annalise tells her that she was never trash to her. Which makes Bonnie go to Issac. In true HTGAWM fashion we are now looped around to the beginning!

Issac is making Bonnie say that she loves “Mae” and that it is the first step to getting over it. After Bonnie starts rambling Issac figured out “Mae” is Annalise and makes her stop talking.

And now to the future, where we see Bonnie at Caplan and Gold with Oliver as the witness, but Bonnie ask,”Where is the suspect?” To which the reply is, “In jail.” Who is it?

ASHER!

What is going on? When will we get all of the answers? Where is the baby? Is Asher involved? Could the baby be Frank’s? Why was Asher even at Caplan and Gold? So many questions and I don’t think we have to wait much longer! We will be tuning in next Thursday at 10 EST on ABC to find out what happens next!
