Lauren Graham To Play TV Host In Ellen DeGeneres-produced Sitcom

Lauren Graham got the starring role in a potential upcoming NBC sitcom, Kate On Later. The Ellen Degeneres-produced show revolves around a female TV host.

It turns out NBC has ordered for a script of a television-related sitcom, called Kate On Later. According to information arriving this week, Lauren Graham has landed the starring role in it and will be playing the female host of a late night talk show.

Lauren Graham will most likely be seen playing the main character in NBC’s potentially upcoming sitcom, even though the show has yet to be picked up by the network. Titled Kate On Later, the series will be all about a woman who was all about her day job, until she was offered to present the late night show. With an opportunity like that having her head-over-heels and everything working out for her just fine, it soon turns out that it’s going to be tough for her in a man’s world.

Liz Tuccillo of Sex And The City fame is currently co-writing the script alongside Lauren Graham. Even though it is not yet official that Kate On Later will be airing on television, it already seems to be a very promising new show. Especially if you bare in mind that Ellen Degeneres is one of the producers behind it. All we have to do is wait and see what happens, while hoping that it makes it on the screen.
