Lisa Kudrow starred in HBO’s sitcom The Comeback back in the summer of 2005, and even though the show was cancelled after only its 13-episode first season, it was announced that a second season is coming this year. Nine years after the original air date of the series, it is scheduled to make an actual comeback and a new teaser trailer was released online.
The former Friends favorite will get to play sitcom actress Valerie Cherish once again, while co-stars Kellan Lutz and Malin Åkerman will also be returning in their original roles. The revealed preview is mostly an audio piece with complimentary comments by the media about the TV show and a blink-and-you-missed it look at Kudrow.
The show follows Cherish, an actress on her way to make an actual comeback and gain back her former fame. It is scheduled to return on the cable network on November 9 for an 8-episode second season, while it is possible that it goes on for more seasons later on.
