Mr. Oizo Releases Hot 4-Track EP Feat. Charli XCX

Following last year’s ‘The Church’ EP, Mr. Oizo has gone and released its follow-up, ‘Hand In The Fire’, which features Charli XCX on the title track.

Mr. Oizo’s brand-new four-track release is called Hand In The Fire and was released December 12.  This EP is a sequel to 2014’s The Church.  The French producer has an ear for a hit and when you pair that with the sultry vocals of Charli XCX, you have an unstoppable one on your hands.

The “Boom Clap” songstress is featured on the first track, titled after the EP, “Hand In The Fire”. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill pop track.  It has a Jamaican feel with percussion instruments.  It’s hot and the hook is super catchy.  Charli XCX teases and tantilizes with her vocals about “being naughty.”  The other three tracks are just as great!

Speaking of those, let’s dive into them for a moment.  “Being Flat” is a ready-to-go club banger!  It has a really different sound, but is somewhat refreshing in a way.  Once you finish that, you sail into “A Rekurd”.  This song starts with a repetitive robotic sound and then breaks into a siren, before dropping the beat.  Mr. Oizo has a knack for a unique sound that is guaranteed to get you off your seat.  Last but not least on the EP is an instrumental version of “Hand In The Fire”, so get your karaoke on!

Take a listen below and then make sure to download the whole thing on iTunes! It’s simple yet perfect.
