MTV Turns VMAs To A Justin Timberlake LoveFest With Special Award

Next Sunday, Justin Timberlake instead of wanting to “Take Back The Night” he will most likely ”own the night” 
He will be honored with receiving the Michael Jackson “Video Vanguard” award (at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City).
This honor will be added to his collection of 14 previous VMA wins from years past. This will put him in the category of past recipients of the award – which is MTV’s lifetime achievement award for contribution to music video.
It includes Britney Spears, Madonna, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones and Bon Jovi to name a few.
Justin is also nominated for six other VMA’s including, Video of the Year, Best Male Video, Best Pop Video, Best Collaboration (for his smash hit “Suit and Tie” featuring Jay-Z), Best Direction and Best Editing.
Justin’s special ”Video Vanguard” nomination will be celebrated with a one-hour programming of his videos on MTV Hits from 3pm ET/PT today (August 15). 
The MTV VMAs will take place on Sunday, August 25th at 9PM EST.
