A long running member of “Saturday Night Live”, actress Jan Hooks has died at the age of 57 following a battle with a serious illness.
The actress shot to stardom alongside some of the greats in SNL history including Chris Farley, Mike Myers, Phil Hartman and Dana Carvey during the 1986-1991 seasons.
She would later go on to star in “Designing Women”, and most recently “30 Rock”.
Her rep confirmed her passing this morning.
