Syntec is set to expand their high-end, best selling Sennheiser Momentum range of headphones, with the launch a new range of on-ear cans that will be available in four colours, blue, pink, green and cream.
Sennheiser are well known for their luxurious headphones, using real leather to adorn the ear cups, but this new range has gone one step further. They will be replacing the leather with a material called Alcantara, the same synthetic material that can be found on the interiors of Williams F1 racing cars and in super yachts.
The new material is said to be more durable and won’t heat up the way the leather did on the previous model. It is also said that should you spill something on them; the surface will be able to be wiped clean.
The new ‘phones are more compact, include a built-in mic and remote control, and while the remote function will only work with the Apple product range, the headphones themselves are compatible with any device.
Syntec say that the headphones come with a high-performance transducer that delivers a “rich and detailed sound performance with a slight bass emphasis”
A very special, limited edition of these new Momentum’s will also be available with a black finish and orange stitching, but will only be available while stocks last; only 500 pairs have been made.
The new Sennheiser Momentum range will be available later this month.
