A new international trailer has just been released for the upcoming film The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones starring Lily Collins. Collins kicks butt in the trailer for the feature adaptation of the young adult series written by Cassandra Clare.
In the film based on the novel of the same name, Collins stars as Clary Fray, an everyday teenager living in New York who is drawn into a scary world full of angels and demons when she learns she is a Shadowhunter. This means she is a supernatural warrior whose destiny is to battle dark forces.
Following her mother’s disappearance (Lena Headey) Fray comes together with a group of Shadowhunters in an attempt to spoil a plot to take over the world.
The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones is a story full of supernatural forces, women who kick butt and evil plots. Nope, no need to be excited there at all.
The film also stars Jamie Campbell Bower, Robert Sheehan, Kevin Zegers, Kevin Durand, Aidan Turner, Jemima West, Godfrey Gao, CCH Pounder, Jared Harris and Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
